It has come to my professional attention that several unlicensed “online platforms” and predatory agents are actively misleading the public across Pakistan. These entities are charging exorbitant fees (ranging from Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 50,000) by fabricating a requirement for “Court Representation” in marriage proceedings.
In the entire history of Pakistan’s legal system, Court Representation has NEVER been a requirement for solemnizing or registering a legal marriage (Nikah).
A marriage in Pakistan is a civil contract. Any agent or website claiming they must “represent” you before a Judge or within a Courtroom to make your marriage “legal” is committing a fraudulent act. They are inventing a non-existent service to justify predatory pricing.
Your marriage is both a sacred religious act and a binding legal contract. Do not trust your future to fraudulent websites boasting “fake experience” or “automated” services.
Before you proceed, always demand the following:
“Integrity is the foundation of the Law. We will not allow digital scammers to exploit the sacred institution of marriage for financial gain.” — Advocate Mohsin Ali Shah
